Neologisms

The book does not coin any words of its own. Chapters are called parandë “(school) lesson”, a Neo-Quenya word recorded in Eldamo (from par- “to learn”), which replaced our earlier coinage carincë. Every word marked NQ. in the word lists is a neologism from Eldamo, which names its author and explains how it was formed.

If a future chapter needs a word that neither Tolkien nor Eldamo provides, it will be listed here with its formation and the Eldamo entries it is built from.
